Morris Adjmi Architects create an iconic structure for the resurgent Meatpacking neighborhood of downtown Manhattan. Occupying a prominent site directly adjacent to the High Line, the project preserves and adds onto an existing industrial depot. An exposed, twisted steel exoskeleton frames four floors of office space and simultaneously contrasts and references this neighborhoodâs industrial roots.
This project received approval through the New York City Landmarks and Preservation Commission.
